Last week we had the lovely opportunity to explore our home city of Edinburgh while enjoying a scrumptious afternoon tea. You might think well this is nothing unusual but wait, it was onboard the Red Bus Bistro!

We jumped onboard the vintage 1966 Routemaster bus at St Andrews Square, Edinburgh. The Routemaster bus was in continuous service in London from 1956 until 2005. Today it is still an iconic London symbol with continuing gifts and tourist souvenirs bearing the Routemaster imagery.

After the warm welcome on board and being guided to our designated seats (seating area can be requested), it was time to enjoy a glass of fizz and dainty treats. The black slate cake stand had a selection of sandwiches, Petites fours, cupcakes, and warmed, freshly baked scones (food intolerance/allergies catered for). We also enjoyed tea and coffee. There is also the option to select additional refreshments from the drinks menu.

We were soon off-traveling through the streets of Edinburgh.
Although there was some disruption to the route due to an event taking place in Edinburgh, it never stopped the fun and giggles onboard. It all added to the great experience. There is also an Afternoon Gin Tour Experience and Gourmet Burger Experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to jump on board in Glasgow to enjoy one of the other experiences.
Hope you have enjoyed reading, inspired to explore Edinburgh and enjoy a delicious afternoon tea onboard the iconic Red Bus Bistro.
