Four Ideas To Reuse Your Isle of Harris Gin Bottles

Isle of Harris Gin Bottle Lamp

I have seen these incredible Isle of Harris Gin Bottle Lamps online and thought I could replicate them. I was also able to not only recycle the two Harris Gin bottles but also two lampshades I already had. Allowing me to splurge a little on some nice fabric to make curtains and re-cover the lampshades.

There are two fittings you can purchase to turn bottles into lamps. One requires drilling a hole in the bottle, to feed through the power cable (bottle lamp kit) and the other is a fitting you push directly into the top of the bottle (bottle lamp adaptor). I went for the latter as is much simpler and easy to do. You can purchase both types online via Amazon.

Another simple way you can re-use your Isle of Harris Gin bottle is by turning it into a vase. I went with dried flowers from Bloompost but you could also use fresh flowers.

I have seen that you could also turn your Isle of Harris Gin bottle into a candle. I haven't tried it as yet but looks great. What do you think? Is this something you would like to try?

Once you have cut the Isle of Harris Gin bottle for a candle, you might like to turn the top half into a bowl?

I hope you are inspired to try one of these or another idea to recycle your beautiful Isle of Harris Gin bottles.

Until next time....
