Scottish Spring Time Experiences

I'm all about gifting experiences, the experiences you remember. Now that the weather is getting better and the longer daylight hours are here, it's the best time to get outdoors. Dust of the cobwebs and make memories.

Scottish Spring Time Experiences

Akwakat

The Akwakat or also known as the bike on the water is so much fun! My sister and I had a brilliant time. It was interesting getting on the bike but once on, away we went. Cycling up and down the canal. The one-hour experience goes really fast and an ideal taster trip.

Segway

If you haven't tried a segway tour yet, I would highly recommend it! It's great fun.

This year the Segway Events in Scotland will be taking place in Vogrie Country Park, Edinburgh but there are other locations throughout the UK available.

Arrive a little earlier to get all kitted out with elbow and knee pads as well as a safety helmet. You will get a wee introduction, before setting off around Vogrie Country Park.

Go Ape - Aberfoyle - UK

I must admit I was feeling a bit more geared up when I booked the Go Ape experience at Aberfoyle. I'm so glad I did it! So much fun. There are two courses one for children and another for adults. This year more zip lines have been added, so you can now compete with your friends and take a sundown zip trip under the stars.

Start with one of the longest zip lines in the UK spanning 323-metres! It is such a thrill flying through the air above the forest canopy.

Which experience will you opt for?

There are several Go Ape locations throughout the UK to choose from. Aberfoyle is located by one of Scotland's national parks - Loch Lomond. With so much to see and do in the area why not extend your stay?

Foraging

As well as fun-filled adrenaline family experiences, did you know Scotland has an abundance larder? Join one of the foraging experiences or walk on the wild side with the help of the Woodland Trust. Spring is a brilliant time to enjoy fresh wild garlic. The smell is just divine.

I hope you have enjoyed reading and inspired to enjoy one or more of the above Scottish springtime experiences.

Until next time take care, Michelle
