Scotland's annual Trade Fair Spring & Speciality Food & Drink Show took place between 19th - 21st January. It was a hive of activity on the first of the three days, showcasing new products including gifts & souvenirs from Owlio based in Edinburgh, Gordon Castle's Diffuser For Life, as well as, delicious Pinot Noir Gin from The Secret Distillery, new flavours of ice cream from Stewart Towers Diary and Biggar Cold Brew Mocha Liqure. About Scotland's Trade Fair
The annual Scotland's Trade Fair Spring and Speciality Food & Drink Show takes place over three days in January at the SEC Glasgow. With quality Scottish products, and some from around the UK and beyond. 2025, seeing over 1000 exhibitors across two areas showcasing innovative, delicious and beautiful home & gift, textiles, jewellery, fashion accessories and speciality food & drink.
During the event, you can also attend presentations and talks at the Talking Shop stage.
This year included the Best Product Awards, and Nessies Den with exhibitors taking to the stage, presenting their products to a panel of industry experts.

Being a bit of a foodie and running my own Edinburgh walking Scottish food tours, I couldn't wait to sample some of the award-winning and new produce including delicious Pinot Noir Gin from Secret Garden Distillery, new carrot cake flavoured ice cream from Stewart Tower Dairy Ice Cream Parlour and Cold Brew Mocha Liqueur distilled by Toll House Spirits. Yum!
It was lovely seeing some firm favourites including Taste of Arran, Chocolate Tree and discovering Kinnard Kitchen Handmade Luxury Confectionary, Isle of Mull Coffee, and excited to review milk truffle CheVron Hot Chocolate - Chevron Chocolate Company.
These are just a few. There were so many incredible products. I can understand how challenging it must have been for the judges to select the award winners, in each of the different categories.
About Best Product Awards
The Best Product Awards took place at 5pm on the first of the three days. The judges for 2025 (Home & Gift) were: Carol Macrae from Eilean Donan Castle, Dawn Kane from the Scottish Seabird Centre, Sue Marks at the Progressive Gifts Magazine and Lynsey Abbott ex-Dobbies.
Judges 2025 (Food & Drink) were: Ben Dale at Cairn Lodge Services, Karol Rzepkowski at Victor Hugo Delis, Janey Paton from Auchentullich Farm Shop and April Pollock from Morrisons.
The categories included Jewellery & Textiles, Home & Gift, Confectionery, Bakery & Snacks, Chilled & Frozen, Condiments, Preserves & Deli Products and Drinks. With Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards given on the day.
